Social Media Club of Dallas was founded in 2009. Over the past three years our club has grown from a handful of social media enthusiasts meeting up over drinks, to over 100 professional members. As our club continues to grow, we strive to support our members and further establish our club as Dallas’ premiere organization for digital marketing.
Social Media Club’s primary mission is to expand digital media literacy, promote standard technologies, encourage ethical behavior and share best practices. Our club hosts conversations that explore key issues facing our society as technologies transform the way we connect, communicate, collaborate and relate to each other.
Social Media Club of Dallas strives to drive conversation and educate members on how companies are leveraging social media to reach, engage, and, most importantly, drive revenue. Furthermore, the club explores how companies are innovating, measuring and improving upon social media tactics. Our club focuses on the complex issues facing organizations when trying to build brands, manage customer service, engage potential customers and better the overall ecosystem.
Social Media Club International
The first chapter of Social Media Club was launched in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA (USA) on August 16, 2006. Today, there are 300+ chapters in existence, spanning six of the seven continents.
